Roman Treasure Trail

In October the new Roman Treasure Trail at Ham Hill was launched to allow you to go on a quest through time. The Friends of Ham Hill (FoHH) have created the ‘Ham Hill Roman Treasure Trail’ leaflet thanks to funding from the Prime Foundation, as well as support from SSDC Countryside Ranger team.

The Treasure Trail encourages children and their families to explore the country park, whilst providing information about the Iron Age hill-fort and Roman settlement on their way round, with the ability to ‘win’ gold coins at various locations at the site.

The trail helps you to discover fascinating facts about the site’s geology, ecology, geography and of course the pre-Roman history of the site, providing hours of fun.

Pick up your Trail leaflet from the Ranger Centre or download it here.

      Hi Janey,

I’ve just double-checked myself. This is the address of the Roman Trail story https://friendsofhamhill.org/roman-treasure-trail-2/ Click/paste this and there are two links in the story, one for A5 version and one for main, click either and away you go. If you still have problems, email me directly at info@friendsofhamhill.org and I’ll send a PDF to you.

      Best wishes
      Neil
